The Odisha Chief Minister’s Relief Fund provides required treatments to the distressed people affected by the major natural calamities like flood, drought, fire accident etc, and it also provides the financial assistance to the needy individuals for their treatment of major diseases.
The contribution to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund (CMRF) entitiles the donor to 100% exemption Under Section 80 G (2) (iihf) of Income Tax Act. 1961
In view of the recent Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm “Fani” Odisha State Disaster Management Authority (OSDMA) is accepting CSR funds for undertaking any activity covered under Schedule-VII of the Companies Act, 2013 which includes relief, rehabilitation & reconstruction activity as part of the disaster management from Industries, Organizations, Trusts, Companies, Institutions and Corporate houses.
